Alexander McQueen Slash Biker Bootie in Black & Silver - Black. Size 37 (also in 41). Leather upper with leather and rubber sole. Made in Italy. Front zipper closure. Leather footbed and lining. Adjustable buckle strap at shaft. Silver-tone metal toe cap. Pointed toe with lacquered stiletto heel. Approx 90mm/ 3.5 inch heel Approx 140mm/ 5.5 inch shaft. AMCQ-WZ189. 768101-WIDR4-1081. About the designer: Always the king of controversy, Alexander McQueen was known for runways exotic in clothing, models, and set decor. At a young age, McQueen cut his teeth on Savile Row, where he apprenticed with tailors Anderson & Sheppard and worked for Gieves & Hawkes. He later worked with Koji Tatsuno and Italy's Romeo Gigli before returning to London in 1994 to receive his masters from Central Saint Martins. Style icon Isabella Blow bought McQueen's entire graduation collection, marking the launch of his fashion career.
