Breckenridge lamp is inspired by a red indian cotton gown worn by Ann Cary Selden Breckenridge of Botetourt County, Virginia when her husband served congress in Washington between 1807 and 1819. The embroidered golden floral handstitched border of the gown became the 'Breckenridge' pattern. Lamp is made of porcelain.
