The sculpted buckle on Burberry's aptly named Shield belt reminisces an age-old symbol of the House: the Equestrian Knight Design. The symbol was originally devised as part of a crowd-sourcing initiative by the label in 1901 and has recently been revived by chief creative officer Daniel Lee since he took over the helm of the brand.
