Jaeger-LeCoultre's first 'Reverso' timepiece was made in 1931, British army officers based in India would often find their watch faces smashed at the end of polo games, so Mr Jacques-David LeCoultre set out to create something more durable. This 47mm long, 28.3mm wide stainless steel piece has the style's signature Art Deco-inspired geometric case and houses two dials, a silvered guilloché one at the front with a second-counting window, and a black Clous de Paris one at the back with a day and night indicator, that can be set to different time zones. The internal hand-wound movement is driven by 160 intricately placed parts. We offer an eight-year warranty for all working parts and manufacturing faults for Jaeger-LeCoultre watches.
