Details

A dramatic Vintage Adrian Mann Egyptian Revival Necklace. A huge pectoral necklace inspired by the Egyptian Revival of the 1970s. The attention to detail as well as the scale in this piece is enthralling. Enamel work in navy blue, turquoise and deep brown depicting a large stylised winged scarab flanked with Ba birds. The enamel plaque adorned with opulent large round carnelian cabochons galleried with brown enamel. A sumptuous full heart drop finishes the necklace to perfection. An incredible piece of wearable art celebrating the design of ancient Egypt. Famed for their timeless classics and historically influenced jewelled creations during the latter part of the 20th Century, Adrian Mann London jewels offer a beautiful glimpse into historical jewel archives. This time with a focus on Egyptian Revival Vintage Condition: Very good overall. The heart may have been replaced at some point in the lifetime of this piece, however the stones matches the round cabochons perfectly. Materials: Gold plated metal, enamel, carnelian glass (we have said glass although it does appear these pieces are natural carnelian). Fastening: bolt ring Approximate Dimensions: chain 52cm, pendant 18cm drop and 9cm wide Brand: Adrian Mann
