Junghans' 'Meister Pilot' reference illustrates the brand's longstanding association with aviation – the watchmaker manufactured control-panel instruments for planes and airships in the 1930s. Powered by a Swiss-made calibre J880.1.6 automatic movement, it has a robust DLC-coated stainless-steel case with a bi-directional turning bezel for precision and seven screws holding the back in place. The navy-blue lacquered dial is emblazoned with large white numerals, based on the controls of a cockpit, and the smaller subdial and date window have red accents for improved readability.
