A Vintage Kenneth Lane Art Deco Lariat. Orginating rom Lane's stand out and highly reverred Art Deco collection. Art Deco being one of Lane's favourite periods of design. This eternally elegant necklace cleverly emulates a jade and rock crystal sautoir from the Art Deco period and is likely made with a number of original Art Deco glass components. An utterley spell binding and rare find (especilaly given the delicate nature of the glass pieces). The Kenneth Jay Lane 'Faking It' book tells the story of an identical sautoir in a clear colourway, being sold by Lane to Lord Rupert Nevill, equerry to the Duke of Edinburgh, as a gift to H.M. The Queen. What a necklace, what a back-story !
