L'Epée 1839's clocks are as much objets d'art as they are innovative feats of horology. This 'Vanitas' skull is created in collaboration with Scottish artisan Ms Fiona Krüger; the motif has become her signature and she is captivated by the link between life, death and time. Limited to a run of 50, it's crafted from palladium-coated and PVD-coated brass and has a fitting skeletonised dial that reveals the workings of the in-house calibre 1853 hand-wound movement. The power reserve display is integrated into the mouth, which will begin to 'yawn' around 35 days to indicate it needs winding. We offer a two-year warranty for all working parts and manufacturing faults for luxury clocks. For more information, contact one of our experts by emailing watches@mrporter.com
