Issey Miyake's love for pleats resulted in the formation of a sister brand to his eponymous label: Pleats Please Issey Miyake. The brand now crafts garments and accessories, each imagined from a single thread that is creased and folded to create a crimped texture. Introduced as part of the designer's AW22 collection is the Pleats backpack.
