Ahluwalia's Spring/Summer 2024 collection was titled Acknowledgements: a celebration of overlooked artists, from the runway's soundtrack of Robert Johnson to the influence of Algerian artist Baya Mahieddine. This hoodie's graphic sees a hand discovering a fragmented postcard of African masks and Akua Mma sculptures, which call out to "recognise me". The masks, without any credit, directly influenced much of the cubist movement of the 20th century - a truly overlooked artistic form.
