Christian Louboutin's iconic red soles came about after the eponymous Parisian designer remarked on the scarlet nail polish used by one of his assistants. Now perhaps the most recognisable finish in footwear, it often pairs with maximalist uppers, as is the case with these embroidered Oxford shoes. Please note, Christian Louboutin's signature red lacquered soles will wear out when tried on a hard surface other than carpet, this is normal wear and tear and is not considered to be a manufacturing defect.
